• 55th Anniversary Frecce Tricolori at Rivolto / Italy 2015

  On September 5 and 6, 2015, the Italian aerobatic squadron "Frecce Tricolori" celebrated its 55th anniversary at its home base in Rivolto near Udine. Congratulators included air forces from Europe and the Middle East.

  On June 29, 2013, I again visited the airshow organized by the Austrian Armed Forces and Red Bull in Zeltweg / Styria. The event took place over two days and attracted a total of more than 300,000 visitors to the Hinterstoisser air base in the immediate vicinity of the Red Bull Ring. In bright sunshine, more than 9 hours of flight program were offered daily.

• Airpower 2016 in Zeltweg / Austria

  Around 240 aircraft were presented by the Austrian Armed Forces, Red Bull and the Province of Styria at the sixth edition of AIRPOWER. On September 2 and 3, 2016, a total of 300,000 visitors wanted to marvel at the demonstrations in the air and on the ground. The very varied program offered a broad cross-section of aviation, from loud fighter jets to quiet glider aerobatics.

• Airpower 2019 in Zeltweg / Austria

  Around 200 aircraft were presented by the Austrian Armed Forces, Red Bull and the Province of Styria at the seventh edition of AIRPOWER. Despite the bad weather, a total of around 185,000 visitors flocked to the Hinterstoisser air base in Zeltweg on 6 and 7 September 2019 to marvel at the demonstrations in the air and on the ground.   Once again, the Austrian Armed Forces, Red Bull and the Province of Styria organized two great days for aviation enthusiasts in Zeltweg. With a partly rainy Friday and the best late summer weather on Saturday, around 250,000 visitors came to the Hinterstoisser air base or watched the program from the outdoor areas.
